Dear IALLA friends,

 

Greetings !

 

I am writing to you because we need very inspiring ideas. As you already now
through the call sent more than a month ago, ICAE General Assembly will take
place on June 17, 2011 in Malmo Sweden, and we are organizing a World
Assembly during the previous days. The EAEA Assembly and other 2 Nordic
events will be held back to back. We want our World Assembly to be a huge
international celebration for all the people working in the education field.


 

 It was agreed by ICAE Ex. Co. that the title of the World Assembly will be:
“A world worth living in” but we need to agree on the subtitle.  Therefore,
we thought that it would be good to hear suggestions from our members,
partners and friends, of a subtitle that makes reference to our struggle for
the right to youth and adult education and lifelong learning. It must be
short and attractive but I’m sure you will come up with wonderful ideas.

Estimados/as amigos/as del IALLA,
 

Nos dirigimos a ustedes porque necesitamos ideas muy inspiradoras. Como ya
sabrán por el llamada enviado hace más de un mes, la  Asamblea General del
ICAE tendrá lugar el 17 de junio de 2011 en Malmö, Suecia, y estamos
organizando una Asamblea Mundial durante los días previos. La Asamblea de la
EAEA y otros 2 eventos nórdicos se llevarán a cabo back to back. Queremos
que nuestra Asamblea Mundial sea una gran celebración internacional para
todas las personas que trabajan en el campo de la educación.
 
El Comité Directivo del ICAE acordó que el título de la Asamblea Mundial
será: "El mundo en el que queremos vivir", pero necesitamos ponernos de
acuerdo sobre el subtítulo. Por lo tanto, pensamos que sería bueno escuchar
las sugerencias de nuestros miembros, socios/as y amigos/as, sobre un
subtítulo que haga referencia a nuestra lucha por el derecho a la educación
de personas jóvenes y adultas y el aprendizaje a lo largo de toda la vida.
Debe ser corto y atractivo, pero estoy segura que ustedes tendrán ideas
maravillosas.
